A newly developed miniature module and advanced metalworking technology have produced a new style of digital watch both practical and playful. This utterly distinctive watch expresses Casio uniqueness and originality and never compromises on even the smallest details. As a timepiece and as a piece of jewelry, this ring watch adds a touch of beauty to each and every moment.
Creating a ring-sized, full-metal version of the Casio watch’s complex form required the use of metal injection molding (MIM), a method of metal processing in which a mixture of fine metal powders and resin is injected into molds. The case, case back, and ring are molded in one piece, with even the dimpled design on the band faithfully reproduced. A glass adhesive technique ensures a tight seal. The watch is built to be water-resistant while still allowing the battery to be replaced. The ring has an inner diameter of 20 mm and a circumference of 62.8 mm, fitting a size 22 finger (US 10.5, EU U). Two size-adjusting spacers in size 19 (19-mm inner diameter) and 16 (18-mm inner diameter) are included.
The standard watch module is downsized by a factor of 10 using optimized, high-density mounting and a smaller battery to create a 3-button digital watch that fits on your finger. The 6-digit LCD displays not only the time down to the second, but also features calendar, dual time, and stopwatch functionality.
At any preset time of your choice, the ring watch will give off a subtle, pulsing glow, an emotional nod to the fleeting twinkle of time.
