The 574 - a hybrid design emerged that has since reached iconic status becoming a wardrobe staple worn by anyone all over the globe. Today, the experiment continues as NB aim to find better footing with a 574 under the New Balance green leaf standard. That means the upper is made of 50% or more recycled content, leather that supports more responsible manufacturing through the Leather Working Group, and the outsole material contains 5% recycled content. A standard that is not perfect, but a product of potential.
