Deconstructed running aesthetics meet future-facing streetwear. The NEW BALANCE 1906A “Black/Bright Mint” breaks away from the polished construction of a traditional performance runner, transforming the technical DNA of the 1906 series into a progressive fashion statement.
Its open mesh base is covered with a complex arrangement of deconstructed, displaced and intentionally extended overlays. Exposed stitching, asymmetric components and elongated N-Lock straps give the sneaker an almost exploded appearance. Elements normally hidden within the shoe's construction become part of its visual identity – raw, technical and deliberately unconventional. This “Tech Explosion” approach makes the 1906A one of the most experimental interpretations of the silhouette.
A predominantly Black and Graphite Grey palette provides a dark technical foundation, contrasted by vivid Bright Mint accents across the heel, midsole and smaller details. Metallic-looking overlays, intricate layering and complex lines create a futuristic aesthetic sitting between Y2K running, technical fashion and contemporary streetwear.
Beneath the experimental upper sits familiar 1906 technology. ACTEVA LITE cushioning, N-ergy and segmented ABZORB SBS heel pods combine its fashion-forward appearance with the comfort-focused performance heritage associated with the 1906 family.
